Today my crazy kitten was given her first teddy and she loves it.
She also decided that she no longer likes kitten food in jelly, she would much rather have big cats food in gravy.
I had to give in and allow it because she refused
to eat her food and crying because she was hungry.

Ditsy's first card game
Today Ditsy learnt how to play cards and how to commandeer my make up box.
She is growing bolder everyday and has even ventured from the sitting room to the kitchen. Once there she ate some of the big cats food and used one of the adult cats litter tray.

Hi, I want to introduce you to our new family member, a fur baby called Ditsy Shadow.
She (at least we think she is) is 7 weeks old and is a persian cross British short hair.
She sleeps in a cat carrier at night in my bedroom and during the day her bed is either the sofa besides my eldest daughter or in a large box we turned into a play pen for her.
She has the playpen because we also have three adult fur babies who are four times her size.
My aim is to give you regular updates on her antics.
Day one, She spent most of the time asleep wrapped in a towel in my arms.
Day two, She had a pee in her litter box without having to be shown how. After her breakfast she played on my desk while in e mail checked and wrote my journal.
Day three, She's made herself at home, she chewed and smudged (with her nose on the watercolour drawing) the journal page I was on. She also had her first poo. OK so maybe that last bit wasn't interesting to you, but it does mean her little plumbing is all working ok.
Day four (today) So far she's commandeered a paintbrush as a toy, stepped in her milk and is now crashed out asleep and dreaming on my desk.

Hi, I haven't written in a while as Iv'e been very busy trying to work on an idea for an art group where creatives of all ages and all skills can meet online to make, chat and be supported. The group would be open to all types of crafts from Art journaling to Wood work. Any craft is worth supporting and socializing around. I am not sure where to host this as I'd like to be able to connect everyone (who wants to) by live chat so it's like all being in the same room despite the miles apart on a map. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
I also recently was graced with a grandson from my youngest so I have been making trips to see him. His name is Ethan and I adore him. What do you think?

I know I know I'm really bad at keeping this up to date. Sorry.
I recently began keeping an old style Scrapbook/glue book/inspiration book in a re-purposed old library book. I thought you might like to see.
Please feel free to comment if you wish.

On a different subject we are at present experiencing a bit of a change at home by re arranging our living furniture. This gives me more to hold onto if I go to fall (which is becoming more likely).

Hi, I just wanted to say that I have found a new course I'm going to follow. It's not on art but I do believe it will help me.
Its called Qi Gong and is about learning to harness the power of your Chi or inner healing energy. For a long time I have had the ability to help those who are in pain by running my hands over (not on) their bodies. I didn't know how or why it worked, just that it aided the pain to be less and the healing to be quicker.
I think it must be the power of Qi gong but now I get to study it and refine my practice. I hope to keep you updated on my experience.

Update on the Leonie Dawson course "My Shining Life"
Welcome, I thought it was time to do an update. I have finished the Diary workbook and loved every minute of it. I would defiantly recommend it she's a genius. So good if fact that I've gone on to buy her Business workbook. I'm sure it will be just as good.
On a personal level I have been having a lot of trouble with my right shoulder, it's so painful to move it. Getting dressed has become a nightmare so has washing my hair.I have the doctors on Wed so I'll let you know
If like me you're into art I would really recommend the Lifebook 2016 course run by Tamara Laporte. Here are the few bits I've done in first few weeks.

Shining life workbook 2016 update
Here are a few more pages from the above workbook...I am still loving the course and my only regret is not having found it 5 years ago when they first came out. I have learnt so much about me so far it's scary, and good. You can bet I'll be buying them yearly from now on. Leonie Dawson is an inspiration and great mentor. These books came at just the right time in my life when I wanted to take stock of my life. Thank you Leonie xxx

Hello and a Happy New Year to all,
I bet you thought I'd fallen by the wayside, but no it's just been so hectic over Christmas that this is the first time I've had time to myself to up date.
So firstly I'd like to say I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas and a safe seeing in of this New Year.
So this year I am planning some things, I plan to go on a course on "Living with Fibromyalgia", I plan on trying a course at the local gym (for wheelchair users), and I plan a good sort out and organization of my craft supplies.
I was lucky at Christmas and got lots of craft supplies, including a glass A3 craft mat, some Chameleon pens, two fine liner bottles and some high flow paint in black & white.
I have made a start on my new planner/diary I mentioned in my last post and so far 2016 is looking pretty good.
